Exchange of views on resuming direct Bangladesh-Pakistan flights

A fruitful exchange of views was held on the resumption of direct flights between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Today, Wednesday (September 3) at 12 noon, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md. Mustafa Mahmud Siddique paid a courtesy call on Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Director General Nadir Shafi Dar.

During the meeting, both sides expressed their keen interest in resuming direct air services. They also emphasized the importance of exchanging technology and experience, building capacity, and strengthening mutual cooperation in the aviation sector in the future.

Both sides expressed hope that the resumption of direct flights will further increase trade, tourism, and people-to-people contacts between the two countries.

Senior officials of the airline and the CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) were also present at the meeting.
